Hello! My name is Dre Grigoropol. I’m an illustrator, cartoonist, caricaturist and blogger. I create comics, zines, and illustrations with a feminist sensibility and a charming, playful aesthetic. My work has been featured in publications such: Dirty Diamonds, a women’s comics anthology; Dangerous Damsels, a feminist folklore zine; and Zine Crush’s upcoming second issue. Dee’s Dream, is my latest project, explores the bohemian existence of an anxious poet and songwriter—her garage band, her romantic entanglements, and the strange characters and situations that pop up in her life. Before I move to New York I helped organize and administrate Philly Comix Jam, a monthly cartooning event that has become a staple of the Philadelphia comic art scene.
